Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for one post of Junior Research Fellow in the research project “DST-14: Designer food for management of type-2 diabetes: targeting the gut-hormone modulatory potential of probiotics”. The post is purely temporary and is upto 29-03-2021, the date of termination of the project. The required qualifications are here under:

Essential 1. M.Sc/M.Tech in Microbiology, Dairy Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognized University – with an overall credit point average of 6.5/10 or 65% marks and above. 2. B. Sc degree in any relevant branch of life sciences with at least second division. 3. Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET), Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE) and National level examination* conducted by any of central government departments and their agencies and institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, CSIR-UGC, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.) 4. Knowledge of Punjabi up to matric level. The condition of knowledge in Punjabi is however relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving. Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in the field of cell culture, real time based expression studies and basic techniques of Microbiology and Molecular biology. |

Emoluments Rs. 31,000/- + 16 % HRA per month |

The candidates are requested to submit/send their bio-data on the prescribed format along with one set of photocopies of all related documents, mark sheets and publications with a recent passport size photograph on or before 04-12-2020. The interview will be conducted on 07-12-2020 at 11.00 am in the O/o Dean CODST.
Note: No TA/DA is permissible for appearing for the interview.
