Eleven Laboratory technicians at a fixed salary of Rs. 12,000/- (fixed) per month are required to be engaged on contract basis in the different departments of this University. The prescribed qualifications for the posts are as under:-
1. 10+2/Senior Secondary of any stream.
2. B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology with two year experience as Laboratory Technician.
Or
Diploma (Two years duration) in Medical Laboratory Technology with three years experience as Laboratory Technician.
3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language.
2. To handle biological material/clinical samples and their analysis.
3. To maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment's/electrical gadgets.
4. To maintain record for the purchase and use of chemicals, reagents and kits in the Laboratory.
5. To assist the teacher in charge to maintain the record of the laboratory reports.
6. Any other duty assigned from time to time.
The posts are purely temporary and persons will be engaged for six months and likely to continue. The services of the incumbents are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
