Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Booh of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana organized Agriculture and Livestock Farmers’ Fair. Sh. Laljit Singh Bhullar, Cabinet Minister, Transport and 
Hospitality, Punjab was chief guest of the function. In this event, information related to agriculture and livestock was disseminated among the farmers. Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director of Extension Education,Dr. JPS Gill, Director Research, GADVASU and various experts from GADVASU were present in the function . Sh. Sakattar Singh Bal, ADC (Urban Development), Tarn Taran; Mrs. Alka Kalia, SDM Patti alongwith officials of district administration also attended the event . Dairy Development Board, Animal Husbandry Department, Department of Fisheries, Agriculture, Horticulture and various other line departments also took part. The event was attended by about 4000 farmers, farm women and students from various colleges. Sh. Laljeet Singh Bhullar said that he is very elated to visit state's best KVK as he has witnessed many latest technologies related to agriculture, livestock, and fis
heries sector. He said that farmers should come ahead to adopt integrated farming system for more numeration from each enterprises. He asked farmers to visit KVK and University for getting knowledge about new technologies related to agriculture, livestock and fisheries sector and apply them in their farms. He further said that government will take strict action against the folks who are involved in the adulteration of milk. Minister also inaugurated newly establish FPO by KVK and launched many products such as Ghee, Jaljeera, Lassi, Whey Drink etc. He along with other officials released pamphlets published by KVK for the benefit of the farmers. Farmers who have established different enterprises such as Dairy, Piggery, Poultry, Beekeeping etc. were honoured by the minister. University products such as Mineral mixture, Uromin Lick, Bypass fat, seed of Kharif crop varieties etc were also available for sale to the farmers.
