To aware the school students regarding Crop Residue Management, school level activities were planned by KVK, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) under the supervision of Associate Director, KVK, Dr. Parminder Singh at Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Kurali. Programme coordinators Dr. Harmeet Kaur and Dr. Vikas Phulia conducted various competitions such as slogan writing, poster making and speech for effective management of crop residue. Highlighting ill-effects of crop residue burning, Dr. Parminder Singh guided the students to create awareness among their parents and neighbors for in-situ and ex-situ management of crop residue. During this event certificates and prizes were distributed to the winner students. School Principal, Mr. Hari Singh thanked KVK faculty to conduct such motivational programme in the school. 250 students were present during this event.
