Pashu Palan Mela of Guru Angad Dev Veterinay & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana concluded with message to develop livestock farming as an impressive and effective option of diversification. Dr. G.S. Kalkat, Chairman, Farmers Commission of Punjab was today’s chief guest. He said that we should come forward to develop livestock professions in an organised manner to reap the full banefits. Dr. B.S. Dhillon VC, PAU also visited mela with Dr Kalkat. The theme slogan of this mela was “Kheti Vibhinnta da eh uttam badal, Chitey ,Neeley inqlab nu karo safal.” (The best option of agriculture diversification is to develop livestock professions and fisheries). Mela attracted a huge gathering with a thought to develop livestock professions on modern terms.
