Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mohali of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana organized
one day training programme on layout and planting of orchard for the farmers at village Badanpur on dated 25.7.2016. Dr Munish Sharma presented detailed demonstration on the various layout plans and scientific methdology of planting of orchard. He told farmers to make use of the present rainy season to plant various fruit trees in their kitchen gardens and home premises also. Dr Harmeet Kaur told farmers about various pests of fruit crops in her lecture. Seeds of Brinjal hybrid were also distributed as input to farmers for popularization of vegetable crops in area. Progressive farmers Inderpal Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Tarunpreet Singh and others also shared their experiences with the participants.
