Students from rural areas should come forward to get education in Veterinary and allied Sciences. The subjects of these sciences are related to their own life; hence apart from their personal achievements they can contribute more to rural areas of the State.  Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana shared these views during his visit at Gurdwara Karamsar, Rara Sahib Trust.

Dr. Inderjeet Singh came to visit the dairy farm established by the Rara Sahib Trust with the technical support of the University. He was invited by the trust to visit the dairy farm and sought his technical and professional suggestions. On this occasion, Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director, Extension Education was also present.  S. Maninderjit Singh Benipal, trustee of the board informed them in detail about the dairy farm and other social works being run by the trust. Dr. Inderjeet Singh emphasized on rearing the livestock on scientific lines only. He gave very valuable suggestions to the working staff at Dairy Farm. He made them aware about timely vaccination, diagnosis of diseases and judicious use of medicines to prevent, treat diseases and to control zoonotic diseases. He said that the university will provide all possible support for the improvement of the farm by ensuring expert services.
