activities such as agriculture, dairy, value addition & packaging of the produce. Governing body members of FPO and KVK team attended this meeting. Dr Balwinder Kumar, Associate Director (T), KVK Tarn Taran welcomed all the participants at KVK and provided valuable inputs on various aspects to promote their FPO. The group has started recently and is working on various issues such as production of organic vegetables, Honey Bee, Milk production and value addition of the produce. For strengthening their group, the governing body members requested KVK to help them in various aspects so that their group may run successfully. KVK team assured them to provide scientific technical know how for various ventures for promoting their FPO and trainings on dairy farming, value addition of milk and meat products, vermicompost, organic vegetables production, masala making, gur making, multigrain atta making as well as packaging of the products. Governing body members thanked KVK team for their valuable suggestions and technical support for promoting their FPO. Governing body members also took keen interest in various demo units such as Vermicompost unit, Azolla Unit, Bee keeping unit, Kitchen gardening and Moringa Unit at KVK. They also took part in the Swachhta campaign. Governing body members namely Sh. Amarjit Singh, Sh. Gurbhej Singh, Sh. Sital Singh, Sh. Suneet Sharma, Sh. Raghbir Singh and Mrs. Paramjit Kaur also attended the meeting.
