Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana is organizing offline training programme on Poultry Farming from 14.12.2020 to 24.12.2020. Dr. P S Brar Director Extension Education informed that in this training programme, the trainees will be provided basic knowledge on different aspects of poultry farming like breeds, breeding, feeding, day to day care & management, shed design & structures, weather management, light requirement, vaccination protocols, diseases & their prevention, value addition of egg and meat, economics of poultry farm etc. Besides theoretical lectures, practical training on handling of birds, measuring vital parameters, signs of health will also be provided to the trainees. The purpose of this training is to provide fundamental knowledge and support to the budding farmers for setting up their enterprise efficiently. For safety precautions only limited number of trainee are allowed and all COVID-19 protective measures will be followed strictly.
