Lubangarh, (Mohali) under the NABARD sponsored project on promotion of Kitchen Gardening. This training was organized under the guidance of Dr. Parminder Singh, Associate Director (Training). 15 farmers and farm women participated in training programme. Training Incharge cum Principle Investigator (PI) of Project, Dr. Munish Sharma, Assistant Professor (Horticulture) co-ordinated the entire training programme and delivered lectures on layout and maintenance of kitchen gardens, cultivation practices of vegetables, nursery raising and protected cultivation of vegetable crops. Dr. Parul Gupta Assistant Professor, (Home Science) delivered lecture on processing, value addition and post-harvest handling of vegetables. Visits were made to farmers' field and literature was also distributed during this training. On the last day of training, trainees thanked KVK faculty for this training and assured their future participation in KVK's endeavors.
