The department is actively engaged in brucellosis testing of Veterinarians, para veterinary staff and dairy farmers of State.
Water testing for potability is routinely undertaken by the department upon request by various health, municipal authorities and other clients.
Microbiological analyses of various food, food products and food ingredients are also routinely performed by the Food Safety Laboratory of the department.
