To train veterinary professionals including Master’s and Doctorate level specialists competent of handling livestock vigor and production aspects according to the needs of State Government and allied agencies.
To coordinate research in all sectors of veterinary and animal sciences with emphasis on animal health, production and processing technologies with multidisciplinary approach.
To develop collaborative research linkages with other international and national research institutes and universities.
To guide and assist the university scientists in acquiring funding for new research projects from national/international funding agencies.
