Dr. S. Sivakumar

 

  • Best Teacher Award in Dairy Science & Technology (for 2017-18) Awarded by Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana
  • Best Poster Award in International Conference, IMSACON, Organized by Department of LPT, COVS, GADVASU, Ludhiana (November 10-12, 2016).
  • Best Poster Award in National Seminar on Food Processing India 2017 organized by Department of Food Technology, Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar (3rd – 4th March 2017).
  • Best Poster Award in National Conference, organized by Department of Food Technology, MDU, Rothak on Food Processing for Value Addition: Trends and Innovations” held on November 27, 2017.
  • Best Poster Award in National Conference on Emerging and Sustainable Technologies in Food Processing (ESTFP-2018), Department of Food Engineering and Technology, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal, 15th – 16th March.
  • Received Third prize in oral presentation in Third National Conference on Contemporary Food Processing and Preservation Technologies (12-13 April, 2018), Shoolini University, Solan (HP).
  • Received Second prize in poster presentation in Third National Conference on Contemporary Food Processing and Preservation Technologies (12-13 April, 2018), Shoolini University, Solan (HP).

 

Dr. Pranav Kumar Singh

 

  • Received Asia Productivity Organization (APO), Japan fellowship to attend the Study Mission on Modern Quality Control and Inspection Systems for Food Products in Germany from October 12th – 17th, 2015.
  • Best Poster Award at 44th Dairy Industry Conference held at NDRI, Karnal during February 18th – 20th, 2016.
  • Received invitation to deliver an Invited Talk on “Milk Protein stabilized Nano emulsions for the Delivery of Vitamin D2 into Food System” in 7th Asian Conference on Colloid and Interface Science (ACCIS2017) held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between August 8-11, 2017.
  • Received invitation to deliver an Invited Talk on “Nanotechnology: An Innovative Technique for the Value Addition of Foods” in the International Conference on Technologies for Value Addition in Food Products held at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh, India between July 20-21, 2017.

 

Dr. Nitika Goel

 

  • Second prize in e-poster presentation: Nitika Goel, P K Singh and S K Kanawjia on the topic “Technology of oil in water emulsions developed as potential delivery system for phytosterols in food matrix” in 46thDairy Industry Conference Kochi, Kerela held on Feb 8-10, 2018.
  • Third prize in poster presentation: Nitika Goel, P K Singh, S K Kanawjia and Inderpreet Kaur on the topic “Physio-chemical properties of stable oil in water emulsion developed as a potential delivery system for Phytosterols into food matrix in 7th conference of Indian meat science association on “New horizons for augmenting meat production and processing to ensure nutritional security, food safety and environmental sustainability organized by Department of Livestock Production Technology, GADVASU, Ludhiana from November 10 to 12, 2016.

 

Dr. Rekha Chawla

 

  • Navdeep Singh, Rekha  Chawla, S SivaKumar and  Gopika Talwar. Second prize in poster presentation on the topic “Screening for polysaccharides and plasticizers for edible packaging” in 21stPunjab Science Congress held at PAU from February 7-9, 2018.

  • Best Poster Award: Sandeep  Singh, Sunil Kumar Khatkar, Rekha Chawla, Harsh Panwar and Anil Kumar Puniya (2017) Designer Chocolate: Novel era for Dairy and Food Processing Industry to Combat Malnutrition. In: National Seminar on Food Processing India 2017 Held at GJUS&T, Hisar from 3rd - 4th March 2017.
  • Received Best Paper (Oral Presentation) Award: Sunil Kumar Khatkar and Dadi Bhaskar. Development and quality evaluation of ?-glucan enriched low fat functional dahi. In International Conference on Bio and Nano Technologies for Sustainable Agriculture, Food, Health, Energy and Industry (ICBN-2018) organized by Department of Bio and Nano Technology, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar-125001, India. Held on February 21-23, 2018.
  • Best Paper Award (Oral): Khatkar SK and Gupta VK Membrane-induced application for the development of good quality Dairy Whitener. In:  National Conference on Sustainable Agriculture, Food & Nutritional Security (SAFNS) – 2018. Held on 16th and 17th Feb, 2018, organized by School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab.
  • Best Poster Award 2018 in International Conference: ICBN-2018 (Bio and Nano Technologies for sustainable agriculture, food, health, energy and industry. Jointly organized by Department of Bio and Nano Technology, GJUS&T, Hisar held on Feb 21-23, GJUS&T, Hisar.
