Till date, the department has published more than 500 research articles with 6989 citations and h-index of 42.
The diagnostic services to livestock owners, farmers and veterinarians related to parasitic diseases by examination of clinical samples including blood, faecal, skin scraping and other excretion/secretions in the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory is carried out by the faculty members of the department.
Active participation of the faculty in extension activities through expert lectures, participation in Pashu Palan melas, welfare camps, TV/Radio talks etc.
Organized various entrepreneurship trainings, soft skill/technical lectures by renowned national and international experts for undergraduate students under IDP-NAHEP project.
Developed 04 YouTube tutorial videos on parasitological techniques and practical classes.
