Teaching and Other Appointments

• Dr. Randhir Singh is a PhD in Veterinary Medicine with major research on Production diseases in dairy animals with special reference to Ketosis and Hepatic Lipidosis. Recently, he has established a Hemodialysis Unit for pets at Multi-speciality Veterinary Hospital which is now fully functional for dialysis in clinical cases. Currently, he is working on strategies to increase quality of post dialysis life in pets. He also holds a vast experience in health care management at dairy farm and  extension activities with numerous farmers oriented trainings, kissan Gosthis, field days, Animal welfare/ treatment camps, invited expert lectures, extension publications, Adaptive research trails, TV Talks and Live-In Radio Talks to his credit.

Area of Research Interests

• Established state-of-the-art Dialysis Unit for pets at Multi-specialty Veterinary Hospital (MSVH) which is one of its kind in whole North-India. Recently, also established state-of-the-art Interventional Ultrasound Unit at MSVH. Also, his major research interests include production diseases in dairy animals with major focus on Ketosis and fatty liver. Previously, Dr. Randhir Singh is first to grade fatty liver disease in buffaloes during transition period using ultrasound. Currently, he is working on strategies to increase quality of post-dialysis life in pets and inclusion of various interventional procedures in routine clinical practice. He also holds a vast experience in health care management at dairy farm and extension activities with numerous farmer-oriented trainings, field days, Animal welfare/ treatment camps, invited expert lectures, extension publications, Adaptive research trails, TV Talks and Live-In Radio Talks to his credit.
