• Second Best Award for poster presentation entitled “Significance of saliva, skin and hair follicles for antemortem diagnosis of rabies” at the International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture for Food and Livelihood Security held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana from 27-29 November 2012
• Young Scientist Award for presentation of work entitled “Antemortem diagnosis of rabies from body secretion/excretion by Taqman PCR” by M Dandale, C K Singh, Ramneek, D Deka, B S Sandhu and N K Sood at the Annual Conference of Association for Prevention and Control of Rabies in India (APCRI) held at Pune in July 2013.

• Best poster presentation organizing Secretary Award-2013 on the topic “Multiple antigen labeling for the immunohistochemical detection of complex etiology during bovine calf diarrhea outbreaks” by APS Brar,NK Sood,K Gupta and BS Sandhu during the XXX Annual conference of Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists (IAVP) held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha between 21st and 23rd Nov., 2013Compendium XXXth IAVP conference.
