To discover the epidemiology of infectious animal diseases and toxicities by acquiring information on ecology and natural history of diseases prevalent in the state
To investigate outbreaks of infectious diseases Viz. brucellosis, TB, JD, IBR, HS, FMD, PPR, Sheep pox, swine fever, coli bacillosis, parasitic diseases and toxicities by surveillance and monitoring, and planning and recommending effective control programs.
To assess economic impacts of diseases and toxicities and economic analysis of the inputs and benefits of alternative designed control programs.
