The department provides mastitis test kits (paddle + SLS reagent and BTB card test) to the livestock owner for diagnosis of subclinical mastitis.
The department extends facility of culture sensitivity test of mastitis milk samples and somatic cell counts of milk samples.
The department has facility of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer for the analysis of micro, macro and heavy metals in serum, water and feed.
The facility of blood transfusion and peritoneal dialysis is also available with the department.
The department is also providing hoof care facilities to the dairy cattle.
