Area of Research Interests

  • Area of research includes promotion of food safety through detection of foodborne pathogens in foods of animal origin. Prevalence studies on antibiotic resistance in various foodborne and commensal microorganisms, mode of spread of antibiotic resistance in microorganisms. Epidemiological and molecular epidemiological approaches to study foodborne diseases, their antibiotic resistant and important zoonotic disease.
