The department has an Audio-visual Aid UG Laboratory along with a Lab for PG Practical Classes. There is one Seminar Room for delivering various seminars/lectures for undergraduate and post graduate students. There is one Farmer Information Centre which caters to the needs of various livestock farmers who visit our university. Inputs like mineral mixture, uromin licks, bypass fat, ruminal magnets, calendars and university publications are available in this centre for sale. The department also owns a Tele Advisory Centre for the benefit of farmers who cannot travel to the university. It has two dedicated mobile numbers (6283258834 and 6283297919) for farmers to contact university experts on all working days. For off-hours, farmers can communicate with the university experts through a mobile app, ‘PPTAK’. The later can be downloaded from Google Playstore free of cost.
