Area of Research Interests

  • Research conducted in the field of organogenesis and prenatal development of GALT in buffalo by experiments involving Histological, histochemical, immunohistochemical, histoenzymic and Ultrastructural aspects. Studies on female genitalia of buffalo mainly Corpus Luteum during different phases of cyclicity to characterize its immune regulation aspect by Histological, Immunohistochemical and Ultrastructural studies
  • Prenatal development of mucosa associated lymphoid tissues (MALT) in domestic animals to determine the development of innate immunity. Factors regulating Immune regulation of corpus luteum in buffalo at subcellular levels.

  • Best PhD Thesis award for research work entitled “Histomorphochemical, Ultrastructural characterization and immune regulation of corpus luteum in Indian buffalo” in 3 days international conference from 28-30 Sept, 2022, organized by ICAR-IGFRI, Regional Research Station, Srinagar, ICAR-NAHEP, Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi and NADCL, Baramulla, UT of J&K. 
  • Best Oral presentation Award by Indian Society of Buffalo Development (ISBD) on 10-11 December, 2021. 
  • Best poster award “First prize” for E-canvas on theme “Strategies for doubling farmer’s Income” in National e-conference on “Igniting young minds for sustainable growth through entrepreneurship and skill development: A Vet’s Vision” organized by IDP-NAHEP cell, GADVASU, Ludhiana from 1-5 March, 2021.
