  • M.V.Sc. (Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences,Hisar-125004)

Teaching and Other Appointments

  • Joined as an assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology on 25 th September 2023. (Teaching experience: 11 months).
  • My passion for research and academics is deeply intertwined with a specific focus on surgeries, extending across both large and small animals. This interest stems from a desire to contribute to the advancement of veterinary and medical knowledge in the context of diverse surgical practices. In the realm of large animal surgeries, I am captivated by the unique challenges and intricacies involved in procedures tailored to the anatomy and physiology of larger species.  Simultaneously, my fascination extends to the nuanced intricacies of small animal surgeries, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Exploring the intersections of research, academia, and surgical interventions in both large and small animals allows me to navigate the dynamic and evolving landscape of veterinary medicine, fostering a holistic understanding of surgical principles and their applications across diverse species.

Area of Research Interests

  • MVSc thesis title: “Efficacy of Ammonium chloride and Walpole’s solution for the treatment of obstructive urolithiasis in male buffalo calves”.
  • Ph.D. thesis title: Radiographic and computed tomographic studies of canine mammary tumors.
  • Diagnostic tools are fundamental in deciphering health challenges faced by animals, enabling early detection and targeted interventions. Exploring this field allows me to contribute to the development of innovative diagnostic methodologies, ranging from imaging technologies to molecular diagnostics, tailored specifically for the intricacies of veterinary medicine. By engaging in diagnostic research for animals, I aim to enhance our understanding of various diseases affecting them, leading to more accurate diagnoses, improved treatment strategies, and ultimately better overall health outcomes. This research avenue not only aligns with my dedication to animal welfare but also presents an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and compassionate veterinary care.
