Dr. R S Sethi took over the charge of HOD, Department of Dairy Engineering. Dr. Sethi has been the most favored and popular teacher among his students which won him the Best Teacher Award in 2018. Dr. Sethi has been a prolific researcher and has handled 11 research projects. Dr Sethi is actively involved in various international collaborations including member of Steering Committee for World Veterinary Association’s (WVA) project on Global Quality Standards for Veterinary Education, Project coordinator of Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program on Genome Editing for Food Security and Environment Sustainability (GEFSES) in collaboration with University of McGill Canada and University of Calgary Canada and Co-investigator in the OIE funded twinning the Veterinary Programs at GADVASU and University of Calgary. He had been a part of many global scientific events at Saskatoon, Calgary, Banff, San Diego and Boston. Dr. Sethi has very successfully carried out the administrative responsibilities as Head, Department of Animal Biotechnology. He took over the Charge of as Additional Director of Research, GADVASU in March 2022.He is Fellow of Indian Association of Veterinary Anatomist. Besides Anatomist of the Year (2021) Award of IAVA, he has been honored withShort-term visiting fellowship, DBT International travel grant, Dr C Vijayragavan Memorial Silver Jubilee Medal,Appreciation award for establishing Covid-19 facility at GADVASU and 26 best poster/paper presentation awards during national & international events.
