Brief Introduction :

Passionate epidemiologist with master’s in veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health (with Merit) from the Royal Veterinary College, London and Post-doctoral Fellowship from The University of Sydney, Australia. More than 20 years of experience in conducting research in veterinary epidemiology, zoonoses and public health. Highly skilled and adept in veterinary public health, surveillance, health economics, risk factor investigation, risk analysis, disease modelling, and outbreak investigation. Dedicated to eliminating the spread of zoonotic and infectious diseases by recommending effective disease prevention and control measures using a One Health approach. Currently employed as Professor cum Head, Department of Microbial and Environmental Biotechnology, College of Animal Biotechnology, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, India. Additional appointments include Honorary lecturer at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science, The University of Sydney, Australia and Adjunct professor at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
