Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana, started a new sale point for pure & fresh milk and milk products. Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor, GADVASU, while inaugurating the sale outlet told that this sale point is another effort of the university to serve the society by providing them chemical and preservative free milk and milk products of highest purity and with
utmost safety.
Dr. R. S. Sethi, Dean, College of Dairy Science and Technology (CODST) said that the college through its Experimental Dairy Pant (EDP) is working tirelessly to supply fresh and safe milk and milk products to the consumers. He applauded the scientists of the college for their dedication and hard work in preparation and distribution of fresh, hygienic and quality milk products to the consumers. The new sale point is located near the Administrative Block in the main campus of GADVASU and will be accessible from Ferozepur Road. Apart from packed pasteurized milk, various other products including Sahiwal cow Ghee, Paneer, Milk Cake, Burfi, 
Mozzarella Cheese, Flavored milk and Ice cream of different flavors will be available at this sale point. The products are manufactured and packed in Experimental Dairy Plant of the CODST from the fresh milk produced at GADVASU dairy farm. These products will be available for sale at the parlour from 8.00 AM to 2.00 PM on daily basis. All Deans, Directors and faculty members were present at the venue to grace the occasion. Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Director of Research, appreciated the continuous efforts of College of Dairy Science and Technology to meet consumer demand for fresh milk and milk products.
