Student Corner

Our students are doing well in different extra mural activities at all India Agricultural & Veterinary Inter University fests and they have won a number of prizes and trophies in these events so we are organising this festival to polish and develop their talent and skill. It will be the spring board for students to achieve the new heights. Rangoli, Clay Modelling, painting, quiz, cartooning, collage making, photography, debate and poetic competitions are an essential part of studentship so it is right of students to enjoy this flavour. The students are in Great Spirit and full of zeal to become the part of youth festival. They are devoting their extra time to prepare their events to stage it in exclusive manner.

National Service Scheme (NSS) & Remount Veterinary Corps

To promote students participation in community service, the university is running National Service Scheme. NSS volunteers donate blood directly to the Hospitals in case of emergency. The blood donation camps are organised in collaboration with DMCH and other social organisations. The main focus of the scheme is on personality development through community service. University NSS volunteers have always played a pivotal role in extending value based services during every hour of need. Tree plantation, community health programs, debates/discussions on socially relevant issues such as AIDS, drug menace are some of projects being pursued by NSS volunteers RVC (Remount Veterinary Corps) students take part in equestrian championship and take part in horse show jumping and tent pegging. The prestigious ‘Sharma Trophy ‘ of Tent pegging has been consecutively won in 2009 and 2010 by GADVASU students. GADVASU girls have won many gold medals in Hacks and show jumping.
